UFAZ Top Students of the Year Contest

UFAZ will host a Top Students of the Year Contest to recognize and reward students for their active participation in academic, social, and sustainability projects, hackathons, competitions, and other UFAZ-organized activities during the 2024-2025 academic year. This initiative aims to encourage student engagement, foster innovation, and promote social responsibility by offering monetary awards for outstanding contributions.

The primary objective of this program is to motivate UFAZ students to actively participate in university activities, enhancing their skills while contributing to the UFAZ community. Announcing the program at the start of the academic year provides students with clear goals and incentives, encouraging consistent involvement throughout the year.

To be eligible for awards, students must participate in UFAZ-organized events, including hackathons such as AI and sustainability-themed competitions, social responsibility projects like environmental and sustainability initiatives, internal and external competitions representing UFAZ, as well as volunteering and student club activities.

The award categories include Social Responsibility Champion, Innovation Leader, Community Builder, and Honorable Mention. Each winner will receive 500 AZN.

A designated committee, consisting of faculty members and event organizers, will review and evaluate student achievements based on certifications and references in May 2025, towards the end of the academic year. Top Students of the Year Contest will serve as the closing event, with awards distributed in June 2025.
