On July 22, UFAZ held an Open Day for admissions to bachelor’s programs. During the event, information was provided about the new bachelor’s program in Chemistry, as well as other programs at UFAZ, including Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Oil and Gas Engineering, and Geophysical Engineering. It was also announced that for the 2024/2025 academic year, applicants who scored 450 or more points in the State Examination Center (SEC) exams can participate in UFAZ’s internal exams scheduled for July 31, 2024.

The event was opened by Latifa Nasibova, the Acting Executive Director of UFAZ, who wished all candidates success. She stated that the decision to set the passing score for the SEC exams at 450 points was made to provide more applicants the opportunity to study at UFAZ, considering the numerous applications and the introduction of the new bachelor’s program this year. Latifa Nasibova also highlighted that many well-known international and local companies highly value the knowledge and skills of UFAZ graduates and that there is high demand for them in the labor market.

Following this, Shahana Mammadova, a graduate of UFAZ’s Geophysical Engineering bachelor’s program, shared her experiences and future plans with the participants. Finally, participants’ questions were answered.
