ASOIU and UFAZ students had a field trip to Garadagh Solar PV

ASOIU and UFAZ students of Society of Petroleum Engineers had a field trip to Garadagh Solar PV (Masdar) The day started with a comprehensive HSE training, ensuring safety and preparedness for all participants. Students then explored the system control room, where they learned about total and active power generation, as well as how solar energy is stored in batteries.

The journey continued with an insightful session on the operational principles of solar panels, followed by a visit to the solar field, where everyone had the chance to see the panels up close and understand their functionality.

The field trip was intended to enrich students’ knowledge of renewable energy technologies.
