BP Hosted Info Session on Early Careers and Internship Opportunities at UFAZ

BP held an informative session at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) to introduce students to its 2025 Early Careers Recruitment Program. The event, titled “Internship Opportunities,” aimed to provide students with essential insights into BP’s graduate and internship programs, along with the skills needed to pursue a successful career in the energy sector.

The 2025 recruitment program offers a range of opportunities in areas such as subsurface and wells, engineering, health, safety and environment (HSE), and communication & external affairs. The session also highlighted BP’s Discovery Week Program for students specializing in geoscience, electrical, mechanical, and rotating equipment engineering.

A panel of BP experts shared their experiences and provided detailed information about the programs and application processes. Speakers included Khadija Ismayilova, Senior Early Careers Advisor, Farida Mammadkhanova, Gas Solutions Petrophysicist, Teyyuba Adigozalova, Geophysicist Graduate, and Vusal Azimov, Geology Graduate. They discussed eligibility criteria and outlined key program features designed to support students and young professionals entering the energy sector.

Graduates of the 2023, 2024, and 2025 academic years are eligible for the graduate program, while students graduating in 2026 can apply for the internship program. The Discovery Week program is open to bachelor’s students graduating in 2027. Azerbaijani citizenship and a minimum CGPA of 2.5 (75%) are required to apply for all programs.

The event concluded with a Q&A session, offering students the opportunity to engage directly with BP representatives.
