Open Door Day Held at UFAZ to Showcase Master’s Programs
On December 13, 2024, French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) hosted an Open Door Day for prospective master's program students. The event, attended by students, and potential candidates aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the academic opportunities and research facilities at UFAZ.
The event began with welcome speeches by Latifa Nasibova, UFAZ Acting Executive Director and Jean-Marc Planeix, UFAZ Coordinator. These were followed by an engaging presentation on UFAZ's master’s programs delivered by Khulya Sabirli, the university’s PR Manager.
Specialized insights into the academic curriculum were shared by the coordinators of UFAZ’s master’s programs. Damien Lemarchand, Coordinator of the Geosciences and Water Resources Management Master’s Programs, and Christophe Serra, Coordinator of the Chemical Engineering Master’s Program, provided an in-depth look at the opportunities these programs offer.
Adding a personal touch, UFAZ master student Gulbeniz Shukurova shared their experiences as students, giving attendees a glimpse into life at the university and the career prospects after graduation.
The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session. Program coordinators, as well as Samra Shiriyeva, Deputy head of the education department answered the questions.
The Open Door Day was a valuable opportunity for prospective students to gain insight into UFAZ’s innovative educational programs and world-class research facilities.
