Six UFAZ alumni achieved remarkable success with PhD admissions

This year, six alumni from the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) have secured PhD positions at prestigious universities across Europe, highlighting the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and global opportunities for its graduates.

Fazil Huseynov, a Master's alum in Geosciences, has been admitted to the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) in Norway, where he will specialize in Reservoir, Tracer, and Flow Technologies, contributing to cutting-edge research in the energy sector.

Master's alumni in Physical Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Farida Salimova and Mahammad Farzani, have joined the University of Strasbourg in France. Farida will pursue a doctorate in Analytical Chemistry, reflecting her dedication to advancing research in chemical sciences, while Mahammad will focus on Inorganic Chemistry.

Kamran Ismayilzade, a Bachelor's alum in Computer Science, has been admitted to INSA Rouen in France, where he will undertake PhD studies in Computer Science.

Ogtay Rasulzade, a Master's alumnus in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, has enrolled in the PhD program in Computer Science at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

Finally, Nijat Asgarli, a Master's alum in Geosciences, will pursue a PhD in Business Administration at Istanbul Nişantaşı University in Türkiye.
