UFAZ held an Open Door Day for its Bachelor's programs

On May 24th, UFAZ held an Open Door Day for its Bachelor's programs. The event featured the presentation of a new Bachelor's program in Chemistry. Additionally, information was provided about UFAZ's other programs in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Oil and Gas Engineering, and Geology and Geophysics Engineering.

The event was opened with a speech by Latifa Nasibova, the Acting Executive Director of UFAZ, who gave detailed information about the institution's history. She emphasized the university's successful operations and noted that many well-known international and local companies highly value the knowledge and skills of UFAZ graduates and are keen to collaborate with them. Latifa Nasibova highlighted that one of the main aspects that sets UFAZ apart from other higher education institutions is its emphasis on practical experience and the extensive inclusion of practical training in its education.

Jean-Marc Planeix, Vice-Rector of the University of Strasbourg and UFAZ Coordinator, spoke about the broad opportunities that education at UFAZ provides. He stated that UFAZ prepares students not only to continue their education at the master's level in Europe or Azerbaijan but also to succeed in industry, management, and research.

Elizaveta Bydanova, UFAZ's Secretary General, discussed the unique opportunities available to UFAZ students. She highlighted the benefits of being a student of both the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) and the University of Strasbourg. Elizaveta Bydanova stated that UFAZ offers students a dual perspective and extensive academic experience by providing education from two different universities.

The Open Door Day also included detailed presentations on the admission procedures, ensuring that prospective students received all the necessary information. The event concluded with a question-and-answer session, giving attendees the opportunity to gain further information and directly engage with the university's representatives.
