UFAZ Representatives Held Info Sessions on the “Green Chemistry Hackathon” at Universities

UFAZ representatives organized information sessions at several higher education institutions to introduce the “Green Chemistry Hackathon.” These sessions were held at Baku State University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Baku Engineering University, and Sumgayit State University.

During the sessions, UFAZ’s Public Relations Manager, Khulya Sabirli, provided detailed information about the objectives, significance, and conditions of the hackathon. Following this, representatives from the UFAZ Chemical Engineering Club explained the technical aspects, application procedures, and the overall structure of the hackathon.

It is worth noting that the “Green Chemistry Hackathon” will be jointly organized by the UFAZ Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center and the UFAZ Chemical Engineering Club. This 24-hour hackathon aims to find innovative solutions to real-life problems related to green chemistry. The event is scheduled to take place on January 12-13 and will offer participants an incredible opportunity to work on innovative projects for a more sustainable future.

Participants will collaborate with like-minded individuals, work on innovative projects, and benefit from the guidance of professional mentors throughout the event. At the end of the hackathon, all participants will receive certificates, and the winning teams will compete for special prizes: 500 AZN for first place, 300 AZN for second place, and 200 AZN for third place.
