UFAZ student became the first female graduate of MIT

Laman Jalilova, UFAZ’s bachelor alumnis in Chemical Engineering program, became the first Azerbaijani female to get accepted to and graduate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a full degree. During her bachelor studies she achieved success in various hackathons and startup competitions, and, as a Clean and Affordable Energy Ambassador for Sustainable Development Goal 7, represented Azerbaijan at international events such as COP28 in Dubai and the SDG Summit at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. She has been actively involved in leading the "Goal+" startup since 2022.

İt should be mentioned that, MIT has again been named the world’s top university by the QS World University Rankings. This is the 13th year in a row MIT has received this distinction.
