UFAZ Student Becomes a Winner of the Humay’s “Girls' Advancement in STEM” Scholarship Program!

We are proud to announce that Nurlana Humbatova, a 3rd-year student majoring in Chemical Engineering at the French-Azerbaijani University, has been selected as one of the winners of the prestigious Humay's "Girls' Advancement in STEM" scholarship program, organized within the framework of cooperation between the “Huma Quşu” Educational Support Fund and Azercell.

This scholarship program was established to support young women from low-income families who are pursuing studies in STEM fields both in Azerbaijan and abroad and who demonstrate great potential and perseverance. A total of 113 applications were submitted for the competition. Among them, only 60 applications fully met the technical requirements, and 16 candidates were invited to the interview stage. Although initially only 5 winners were planned to be selected, the impressive knowledge, skills, and motivation demonstrated by the shortlisted candidates led the Fund’s Board of Directors to increase the number of winners to 10.

As a result, the “Huma Quşu” Fund matched Azercell’s financial support of 12.500 AZN, increasing the total scholarship fund to 25.000 AZN. Each winner will be awarded a scholarship of 2.500 AZN.
