UFAZ student participated participate in the Student Leadership Symposium in Houston, Texas

Anar Maharramli, UFAZ Geophysical Engineering student had the honor of being one of 38 students from 24 countries awarded a full travel grant by the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG). This grant enabled him to participate in the Student Leadership Symposium (SLS) hosted by Chevron and the IMAGE’24 convention hosted by SEG and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) in Houston, Texas.

The experience was transformative, offering him the chance to engage with professionals from Chevron, participate in field-related exercises, and present ideas to industry experts. He also had participated at IMAGE'24, had the opportunity to network with representatives from leading companies worldwide and connect with mentors who provided invaluable insights.
