UFAZ Student Wins Swift Student Challenge 2025

UFAZ is proud to announce that Hakim Aliyev has been named one of the winners of Apple’s Swift Student Challenge 2025, a prestigious international competition recognizing outstanding young developers.

The Swift Student Challenge, organized by Apple, is an annual event that highlights creativity and technical achievement in coding. Thousands of students worldwide submit projects built with Swift Playgrounds, and Apple selects 350 winners based on originality, technical execution, and user experience.

Participants were required to develop an interactive app project using Swift Playgrounds, ensure the project delivers an engaging experience within three minutes and submit a written explanation detailing the motivation and technical aspects of their work.

Hakim Aliyev’s project, Cipher Master, is an educational game that teaches players classic ciphers - including Caesar, Atbash, Vigenère, and Morse Code - through an engaging storyline. The game challenges players to solve ciphers to save WWDC and assist Steve Jobs' assistant.

As a winner, Hakim Aliyev receives an official certificate from Apple, one-year membership in the Apple Developer Program, voucher for the App Development with Swift certification exam (covered by Apple), a pair of AirPods Max, the chance to apply for an exclusive in-person event at Apple Park on June 9.
