UFAZ Students are Among the Winners of 'Gentle Engineers' Women's Development Program
Students of UFAZ are among the winners of the "Gentle Engineers" women's development program, carried out in cooperation between the Education Development Fund and the STP Group of Companies. UFAZ’s Computer Science student Rita Gayitmazova and Chemical Engineering student Nazrin Ismayilova are among the project’s winners.
A total of 573 applications were submitted for the project. After reviewing the applications of 105 candidates, the organizing committee selected them to advance to the interview stage. Of those, 50 successfully completed the process and became recipients of the "Gentle Engineers" scholarship program.
The primary goal of the "Gentle Engineers" women's development program is to support female students with high academic performance, studying in various technical fields, and help them become skilled professionals. As part of the project, the 50 female winners will receive a special scholarship from the STP Group of Companies until the end of the academic year. In addition to the scholarship, the girls will also be provided with mentoring, internships, and training.
The selection process consisted of an online application, evaluation, and interview stages. Academic performance and motivation letters were taken into account during the selection. The final selection was based on the results of the interview stage, where the candidates were asked questions about their goals, social situation, activities, and student life.
