UFAZ Students Win 2nd Place at the "Green Fintech Startup Challenge"

UFAZ students secured 2nd place and won 3000 AZN in the "Green Fintech Startup Challenge" organized by ABB Innovation. As part of the challenge’s pre-incubation program, Aziz Zeynalli, Kamal Aghazada, and Sayara Hasanova developed their startup, Ecomart—an AI-powered ERP solution designed to minimize product waste for producer companies.

Ecomart aims to reduce waste of perishable goods in retail stores by leveraging artificial intelligence to analyze sales data. With this data-driven approach, the system helps retailers make smarter, more efficient orders, preventing overstock and reducing spoilage.

Throughout the intensive 3-month pre-incubation program, the team interviewed representatives from various retail and production companies across Azerbaijan. These insightful discussions allowed them to validate their concept, identify key challenges in inventory management, and fine-tune their solution for maximum impact.
