Academic Staff

Core Faculty

Professors of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) include international academic staff of highly qualified French and Azerbaijani professors delivering lectures in English language, selected and approved in collaboration with Strasbourg University.

Throughout the 4 years of the program:

• 50% of the lectures are delivered by teachers sent by Strasbourg and Rennes 1 Universities;
• The other 50% of the lectures are delivered by high-level Azerbaijani teachers thoroughly selected by Strasbourg University and UFAZ Management.

Permanent French Professors

The permanent teaching team of UFAZ University consists of teachers providing lectures in technical subjects (computer science, mathematics, physics, and chemistry).

Professors of Strasbourg University, permanently based in Baku, work in close collaboration with Azerbaijani teachers. They are focused on courses of the first two years of the program.

Permanent Azerbaijani Professors

Azerbaijani permanent teachers of UFAZ are thoroughly selected, in close collaboration with Strasbourg University.

Great attention is given to their scientific academic achievements, their knowledge of English language, and their experience in foreign universities. UFAZ pedagogical team is an open and dynamic collective of high quality.

Invited Professors

UFAZ Invited Professors are French fully-fledged Professors and Researchers from the Universities of Strasbourg and Rennes 1, but also from different prestigious French universities, who come to UFAZ throughout the 3 years of the Bachelor, on a weekly basis, to share their knowledge and skills with UFAZ students.

This way our students are provided with the same study conditions and teaching staff as in French universities. These weekly visits guarantee that UFAZ students will comply at the end of their Bachelor with the academic and scientific requirements of the French Higher Education system.
